Our Work

YouthBuild USA is the nonprofit support center for a global network of 290 local YouthBuild programs in 18 countries, with 233 programs in 46 U.S. states and 57 programs in 17 other countries. Our international division, YouthBuild International, supports local partners to design and implement YouthBuild programs that respond to the challenges faced by opportunity youth around the world.

As a support center, YouthBuild USA creates a bridge to the YouthBuild movement through technical assistance, leadership development, innovative program enhancements, and advocacy. We help local YouthBuild programs partner with opportunity youth to reclaim their education, gain job skills, and become leaders in their communities.

We recently moved to a brand-new building in Boston, in the Roxbury neighborhood. Construction on our new building was completed in the fall of 2020, providing a state-of-the-art place for YouthBuild USA to call home. This recent move affirms that being close to the community we serve is essential to fulfilling our mission and supporting our vision to create a world where all young people are seen for their potential, and power to transform themselves and their communities.
