Bank of America has recognized YouthBuild USA as a national Neighborhood Builder and awarded a $200,000 grant in recognition of the nonprofit’s leadership in bolstering economic mobility for opportunity youth across the nation.

As part of its Generation Next program to encourage and empower young people to join the skilled trades, This Old House is pleased to announce a partnership and collaboration with YouthBuild USA, a nonprofit organization that champions opportunity youth who aspire to improve their lives and communities but lack the knowledge, skills, and resources to reach their full potential.
From March 18 – March 31, customers at participating Taco Bell locations will be given the option to donate $1 at check-out in-store or through the drive-thru to support the brand’s Helping Hand fundraiser via donations to several charitable organizations. Funds raised at company restaurants will go towards YouthBuild USA.
YouthBuild USA produced an exciting 90-second video as part of a grant proposal for W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s Racial Equity 2030 challenge. It powerfully conveys how we will draw from YouthBuild’s decades of experience with opportunity youth to create a youth-led global Equity Leadership Network to dismantle structures of racial and structural injustice.
YouthBuild USA has announced the promotion of Weymouth resident Ophelia Liu to chief financial officer, where she is responsible for overseeing the organization’s finance department.
