Alongside the publication of its 2021 ESG report, YouthBuild USA’s national partner EQ Office created a powerful 8-minute micro-documentary and these short vignettes highlighting the transformation of Compton YouthBuild’s physical location.
Recently the partnership has been featured in The Registry; L.A. Magazine, which profiled YouthBuild Alumna Maria Diaz; and UrbanLand.
YouthBuild USA has partnered with EQ Office, a leader in creating inspiring workplace destinations and a Blackstone portfolio company since 2020, and in 2022, this partnership expanded to include collaborations with 10 YouthBuild programs in 8 cities across the U.S.: Harlem, Compton, Oakland, Miami, Chicago, Las Vegas, Seattle, and Boston.
Each YouthBuild program will receive pass-through funding from EQ Office — in addition to on-the-ground professional development opportunities that make a direct impact on the lives of opportunity youth and help transform the workforce for a sustainable future.
Offering experiences such hands-on skills training, mentorship, internships, job placements, and more, EQ Office and YouthBuild are working together to provide YouthBuild programs, students, and graduates essential technical know-how, access to networks, and livelihood opportunities in all aspects of property management and construction.
