YouthBuild is proud to partner with Saint-Gobain Corporation Foundation, a global leader in the design, manufacturing and distribution of materials that contribute to the wellbeing of all, to cultivate the next generation of the manufacturing and construction workforce.
Since 2010, Saint-Gobain and YouthBuild Global have partnered to support YouthBuild programs and to connect YouthBuild students to opportunities around the world.
Some examples of current initiatives include:
Dedicated volunteer and technical expertise hours to mentorship and educational programs including YouthBuild’s “Scientists in the Classroom” and “Green Building” initiatives
Donation of energy-efficient products to support YouthBuild’s green home building projects
Product education and hands-on skill training days for YouthBuild students with subsidiaries CertainTeed, Solar Gard, and Sage Glass
Collaboration to jointly manage the Saint-Gobain YouthBuild Training Academy in South Africa and YouthBuild programs in the UK
Generous financial support for YouthBuild Global and programs around the world – which includes donations of in-kind materials for YouthBuild construction project
