ROXBURY, MA, July 28, 2021 — Greg Hybl, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Strategic Partnerships at American Express, has been elected to the Board of Directors for YouthBuild USA, a global nonprofit championing opportunity youth — young adults between the ages of 16 and 24 who are neither in school nor employed — as they earn the knowledge, training and opportunities that lead to long-term professional and personal success.
“YouthBuild USA is honored to have Greg’s experience and expertise on the Board of Directors,” said John Valverde, president and CEO of YouthBuild USA. “As an organization founded on youth agency and a commitment to social justice, we know this crucial work requires a mindset for the long haul. We are proud to have partners like Greg who join us to manifest our core values of love, accountability, collaboration, diversity and leadership. Together, we understand that when people feel they belong, justice for all is achieved.”
Hybl brings a wealth of strategic planning and development experience to the YouthBuild USA Board. Hybl joined American Express in 2009 and is responsible for strategy and development of some of its largest strategic partnerships at an enterprise level. He lives with his wife and three children in Summit, New Jersey.
“The YouthBuild movement is essential to building brighter futures, healthier communities and pathways to success for opportunity youth around the globe,” Hybl said. “I am especially proud to be joining the Board of the organization as American Express continues its support for leadership development and social justice training for YouthBuild USA’s incredible emerging leaders. This work is critical to building a more just, more equitable world.”
